My Drawing...

Lord Vinayaka, the ultimate supreme reality is warmly welcomed,
With sacred and divine prayers sung all around.

Every prayer of distress he hears with his huge ears,
To renew smiles for all the shed tears.

Taking away all the obstacles, thy destroyer of vanity
Shall bestow upon us, true wisdom and prosperity.

A festive fervor of rainbow rolled into one unites the dear,
To bring-in the harbinger of good luck and cheer!

Let’s promote eco-friendly idols to please the lord and save the nature...

The Eternal love...

I felt overwhelmed for the initial few moments after my birth,
But sooner realized, I was in intensive care hooked-up to those weird wires and monitors all around.
I wasn't really able to open my eyes completely,
I was crying lustily, my head being slightly bruised during the birth.
I still needed a long deep sleep to recover from that extra physical strain.

While inside, I had all my needs met from my host,
Warmth and food, And the comfort from the cushioning fluid surrounding me.
Now a separate being I am.
Yet I expected my host to soothe my body by holding me skin-to-skin,
And embrace me in a warm cuddle.
The host did it for me, generously again!!!

I immensely enjoyed being held on her chest for the first time, where I could hear and feel her heartbeat.
I stared into her eyes, trying to memorize her face.
She was absolutely entranced!
I tried turning my head towards her while she brushed my fragile cheeks,
I tried grasping her thumb when she placed me in her lovely palms,
I kept staring into her eyes again.
The attachment slowly was getting strengthened by mutual gaze.

I do not understand anything about this world,
But I knew she was most important for I realized she was a safe base for me.
I do not understand the meaning of "I love you”, but my actions spoke far louder than words.
Those screaming fits meant I did love her and trusted her deeply.

I tried moving away from her to explore the world,
But I did return for her incredible attachment and comfort which always left me in an emotional whirlwind.
Adapting to this new world full of unfamiliar sounds and sensations,
I calmly took it all in for I knew my senses needed a lot of fine tuning...

Of all the joys that lighten suffering earth, what joy is welcomed like a newborn child?

Aroma of rain

It was 4:00 in the afternoon
When there was no stir in the air,
The trees stood still, streets and roads looked deserted,
The intense heat made everyone to take shelter under shady trees.
Perspiring from head to foot, few dropped down tired,
Birds hid in the thick leaves adding to the direful sight of hot summer…

As the sun moved towards West, the long day seemed to wear out,
Away in the distance, there appeared black clouds,
The distant whistling of a strong wind appeared to wake up the trees,
Rapidly casting the clouds all over the sky…

The storm burst upon with all its fury then,
Whirling clouds of dust blinded the eyes and the roars of thunders deafened the ears,
Wind rushed into the houses, rattling the windows and doors,
Drizzling rain abated the wind changing into a heavy downpour,
Shifting the burning hot day into a cool refreshing evening…

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief welcoming the patter of the rain,
The birds expressed their joy bringing a special charm and beauty.
The most fascinating sight of the silver lining across the clouds
And the beautiful rainbow made the hearts leap with immense joy…
